Do you dare to slumber? Dare to dream?
Slip the surly bonds, and live in between,
The waking world, and sleep divine,
Where the world I make, is mine.

I prefer to traverse the shimmering vistas,
That is not real, but I still insist is,
A better view of our sure existence,
Blink too short, you may have missed it.

For in between the lines, a world exists,
Not quite awake, yet not quite betwixt,
If you focus, you can carve your path,
In to a world thatss deep and vast.

So, I seek to sleep, not to get away,
For when I'm awake I feel this way.
I'm in the place, which I don't belong,
Don't wake me up, if I sleep too long.
